On 13th OCtober 2023 , the International Palliative Care Network (ICPCN) marks 10 years since the #HatsOn4CPC campaign was launched ..On this day people around the world are wearing a hat to honour all children with life limiting conditions who live in the shadow of illness.. The kids at Suwa Arana , Sri lanka's first paediatric palliative care centre celebrated International Hats Day by making colourful hats with 9 children from a Colombo girls school and two teachers along with the staff from Suwa Arana .. It was a joyful and fun event with everyone joining in with great enthusiasm and the evening ending with a rousing game of passing the plate..
