Total Number of Paeidiatric Art And Craft Camp

A cancer diagnosis can be life altering, especially for children. Creating art during their cancer experience can be therapeutic and healing.

‘Children’s Art and craft Project’ conducted by Indira Cancer Trust on the third Saturday of the month at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama has provided an outlet for young cancer patients to share their creative talents.

These were conducted and overseen by our team of volunteers and they encouraged the children and the teenagers to draw both themed and freestyle art as well as various creative activities as a way to reduce stress, and to take their mind off their cancer treatment.

The COVID pandemic situation has forced this program to be discontinued as volunteer access to the Apeksha Hospital is limited.
