Indira Cancer Trust conducted a Breast Cancer awareness session at the British High Commission Colombo for H.E. Sarah Hulton - British High Commissioner, Lisa Whanstall - Deputy High Commissioner and all the staff members to raise awareness on the importance of TLC. The event was facilitated by Dr. Kanchana Wijesinghe - Consultant Breast Cancer Surgeon, Colombo South Teaching Hospital who spoke on the importance of supporting one another in conducting the monthly Touch, look, check procedure from a medical aspect. The take home message for all who attended the session was to always be aware of the symptoms of breast cancer and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
