EmbraceEquity Women’s Day Programme 2023 by Hameedias. Many important and valuable topics were discussed. The guest speakers, Naushalya Rajapaksha, founding director of Yehelia Foundation delivered an eye-opener, speaking on the equality of women in Sri Lanka. Ramani Fernando Salons educated the audience about what women must and can do in order to maintain their personal hygiene and upkeep while our very own Trustee, Yenuka Premarathne made the audience aware of the importance of following the TLC method and conducting monthly self- breast examinations on oneself for the prevention of breast cancer. These thought provoking talks were conducted to educate the staff of Hameedias. This educative session was followed by refreshments and music which was enjoyed by all. We thank the management at Hameedias for organizing this truly valuable event.
